Built on the same underpinnings as the boxy Cube, the compact Juke slots into the Nissan crossover lineup beneath the impressive Rogue. The Juke will come with a turbocharged, direct-injection 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder that’s said to put out a healthy 180 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. Bolted to that engine will be either a standard continuously variable automatic transmission or an available six-speed manual gearbox. A choice of front- or all-wheel drive rounds out the powertrain possibilities.

The all-wheel-drive model is also notable for its fully independent rear suspension and rear torque-vectoring system, the latter of which improves traction when accelerating out of corners. The all-new Nissan Juke combines masculine SUV toughness with dynamic and compact body styling, for a refreshing alternative to previously uninspired traditional offerings. Fusing SUV toughness and sporting style, Juke’s ample clearance and high driving position are complemented by six standard airbags and ESP traction control. A braking system that includes both front and rear discs fitted with ABS, EBD, and Nissan Brake Assist as standard ensure total control and confidence when behind the wheel. Interior features that include seat belt pretensioners, active head restraints and ISOFIX further improve Juke’s security.
